AFTER FOUR YEARS AS A PRIVATELY HELD COMPANY DEVELOPING ITS TECHNOLOGY, CONTRIEVE OPTS TO GO PUBLIC

FUNDS RAISED WILL BE USED TO SECURE ADDITIONAL INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND LAUNCH ITS PRIMARY MARKETING CAMPAIGN

LOS ANGELES, December 16 - Contrieve announced today its intention to make a public offering to raise funds for its marketing campaign slated for 2005.  Also, some of the funds will be used to secure additional intellectual property in the United States and in foreign markets.

"Our products and intellectual property are sufficiently underway that we can now focus on our strategy for getting the word out about our groundbreaking RevBot technology.  We are looking forward to developing mutually benefical partnerships with some major e-commerce Internet sites as well as undertaking some Homeland Security projects," said Contrieve Chairman Harry Tarnoff.

Contrieve is actively working on the paperwork now, and its first public offering will most likely occur sometime shortly after January 2005.

Contrieve is a network technology research and development company founded in August 2000 in response to frustrations with inefficiencies in and problems with established network operation.  The goal:  leverage, combine and develop technologies to automate and improve radically the speed, accuracy, trustfulness and reliability of the transfer of network data.

Contrieve has filed for five domestic United States patents and one international patent.  Contrieve's Patent Counsel is Mr. Louis J. Knobbe of Knobbe Martens Olsen & Bear LLP of Irvine, California.
