Enterprise Overview
Our
goal is to develop superior and easy to implement tools for connecting together enterprise
applications. We accomplish this by leveraging popular data interchange standards, coupling them
to hackerproof secured communications, supporting ISO and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and by being scaleable
to handle virtually any amount of network traffic.
- Enterprise solutions market.
The market for enterprise solutions represents another significant opportunity for Contrieve. Annual
spending on database and portal solutions exceeds $20 billion annually. Search engine companies
recognize the opportunity for search technology as overriding infrastructure for standardized searching
across corporate databases. To be truly effective, however, content owners must incorporate RevBot
technology for optimized searching across current, accurate, and complete data. Companies collectively
continue to spend billions of dollars for better inventory management, supply chain automation, human
resources, and financial analysis solutions, often comprised of separate applications with separate
databases. Although data can be searched on an application basis, this is often not a productive way
to look for related information. A unified searching methodology is more productive and produces
more meaningful results, and Contrieve's technology provides this.
- Enterprise products.
RevBots and RevBot Receivers are software products
that will be licensed separately. RevBots
are licensed either per seat or per network node. For example, individual computers on a network can each
have a RevBot license. The RevBots feed into RevBot Receivers which are licensed based on the number of
RevBots from which they will receive data. RevBot Servers
are optional products that come into play for high traffic and high load applications that serve to load
balance the network and provide additional backup and security features.
Contrieve’s sales
and marketing strategy is built upon generating market adoption through a combination of direct and
indirect sales efforts. The companies direct sales team will work end users and along side with system
integrators, consulting firms and OEM’s.
